The APPUG is hosting a panel discussion on Wednesday 15 May, 17:30 – 18:45, in House of Lords, Committee Room 1 on the topic of international students. This will be followed by an optional dinner, 19:00-22:00, House of Commons, Dining Room B.
On 11 March, the Home Secretary, Rt. Hon James Cleverly MP, commissioned the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) to carry out a rapid review of the Graduate visa route, due to report back on Tuesday 14 May. The has followed several months of increased media coverage of international students, graduates and the immigration routes available to them.
We are delighted that Professor Brian Bell, Chair of the MAC, will be addressing attendees at this private event the day after the review is due to be published. He will be joined by other excellent speakers that will bring different perspectives to the debate, including someone currently on the Graduate Route and chair of the National Indian Students and Alumni Union (NISAU).
Please note that the event is restricted to members of the APPUG.
