Universities’ role in the economic recovery

All-Party Parliamentary University Group (APPUG) at a virtual meeting on universities’ role in economic recovery on Wednesday 17 March at 5:00pm.

Universities across the country already play a huge role in boosting regional economies and supporting local employers through innovation and knowledge exchange and providing a skilled workforce. This meeting will explore the central role universities can play in building economic and social prosperity and levelling up as we recover from the pandemic.

Speakers for this meeting include:

There will be a Q&A session following the speaker presentations to allow further discussion, and sharing of ideas between university leaders and parliamentarians.
