Maximising universities’ potential to commercialise research

The APPUG is hosting a panel discussion on Wednesday 29 November, 17:30 – 18:30, in Committee Room 1, House of Lords. This will be followed by a dinner in a House of Commons dining room.

This will examine the opportunities and barriers for universities in commercialising research. Members will hear from:

  • Professor Irene Tracey, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford and lead author of the Independent Review of University Spinouts
  • Dr Alison Callwood, Co-founder and CEO of Sammi-Select
  • Vice-chancellor (TBC)
  • Government spokesperson (TBC)

Please email to confirm whether you are able to attend this panel discussion. Please make clear in your response whether you would like to attend the dinner and list any dietary requirements. Note, there is very limited space at the dinner so it will be allocated on a first come first serve basis with a waiting list.

Please note that the event is restricted to members of the APPUG.
