The UK and Europe: Costs, Benefits and Options

Regent's University London 2 November 2015

That Universities should engage in debate around key issues, particularly international relations, is central to the mission of Regent’s University London.

Of course Regent's has strong views about the importance of higher education benefitting from the UK remaining in the European Union and nearly half of their students come from Continental Europe.  However, they see their role as much wider in the debate than the importance of the EU to universities and for this reason they invited the twenty five experienced authors of the original 2013 Europe report - ‘‘The UK and Europe: Costs, Benefits, Options” - to provide an abridged update.

The report is currently the only comprehensive, independent, non-political contribution to the debate published by a University and Regent's hope that this revised version can take the debate forward productively. All the contributors are eminent experts in their own fields and the views expressed are their own.  Hard copies can be requested at research@regents.ac.uk.
