On 13 October 2026, the All-Party Parliamentary University Group (APPUG) held an Extraordinary General Meeting to elect a new Vice-Chair, following the resignation of Pam Cox MP upon her appointment as Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS).
We are pleased to confirm that The Rt Hon Lord David Willetts was elected as the Group’s new Vice-Chair.
The Group’s updated officers are:
- Dr Rupa Huq MP – Chair
- The Rt Hon Lord David Willetts – Vice-Chair
- Andrew Snowden MP – Vice-Chair
- Martin Rhodes MP – Vice-Chair
